It seemed so long ago in late 2017 when I first thought of making 2018 the first year I make it to the Fringe. Looking at accommodation prices around then scared me off a bit. £1000 for a week? I could fly abroad for that!
The Lichfield Garrick Community Musical turns three this year with a move away from Howard Goodhall it produces Once Upon A Mattress, a musical adaptation of the Princess and the Pea.
Roll up, roll up there's a new show in town. The New Vic celebrates 250 years of the circus by telling the tale of the creator of the modern circus, Phillip Astley. Astley was born in Newcastle under Lyme and so it's very apt that this corker of a play gets its world premiere here.
