Stafford Gatehouse Marks Reopening With A Bright And Bold Refurbishment

Theatres up and down the country are throwing back open their doors and it’s no different at the Stafford Gatehouse.

However, over the last few weeks while the doors were firmly closed due to Coronavirus restrictions, the Theatre has been at work overhauling its front of house areas which now boldly showcases its local homegrown productions with pride.

Adorning the walls are production photos from previous Stafford Festival Shakespeare performances, as well as that of productions by its youth theatre and ofcourse pantomime.

The front of house areas have been completely overhauled to create a bright, airy, yet atmospheric setting that welcomes visitors during the day for a cup of coffee and a a slice of cake to an evening drink with friends before a performance.

The box office has also been relocated to create a much more spacious area right at the heart of the theatre to book your tickets ams flick through the what’s on brochure and If you need inspiration there are screens throughout that highlight some events that are coming soon.
