It’s been announced today that with the help of Martin Dodd from UK Productions, Blackpool Grand will be pushing ahead with plans to stage a pantomime this year.
Pantomonium has been written by Jon Monie as a special one off one act condensed panto, featuring Britain’s Got Talent ‘finalist’ Steve Royle, and West End and TV Star Tom Lister
The production is set to run from Friday 18th December 2020 to Sunday 3rd January 2021 and every day there will be three showings at 11am,3pm and 7pm. Each show runs roughly for 75mins with no interval
Seats will be in sets of 2,3,4 or six priced at £25.50 per person. All profits will be going straight to the Blackpool Grand to help secure it’s future.
Pantomonium! tells the story of a young unnamed girl from the village of Ensemble, along with a handsome Prince Charmless, and the hapless Tilly and Billy Topps from the local Panto Emporium who all set on an adventure to find a powerful magic book. They need to be careful though as the villainous Killjoy has kidnapped Fairy Tales and is trying to beat them in their quest to the magical artefact.
Will the heroes get a happily every after? Will villanious Killjoy succeed? There’s only one way to find out.
You can book tickets for Pantomonium! Online from 7.30pm on the 10th October.
