After being halted at the 11th hour a couple of weeks ago, Indoor Theatres have been given the green light to re open.
While a socially distanced audience is simply not a viable financial model, there are some productions planned for the rest of the year that will welcome this news.
This is by no means back to normal for the theatre industry but it will be nice to be able to be back in these beautiful spaces soon.
I had a hope that theatre would be back before the end of 2020 and many people didn’t believe me. It’s a long way off where we were pre pandemic, but it’s an important step.
