ThickSkin and Lawrence Batley Theatre has announced the full cast of Blood Harmony, a new play featuring music by The Staves. The production is co-produced with Watford Palace Theatre and Wales Millennium Centre and supported by The Lowry.
The dates for Bloody Harmony are as follows:
The Lowry – 10th to 18th Jun 2022
The Dukes – 24th to 25th Jun 2022
Lawrence Batley Theatre – 28th Jun to 2nd Jul 2022
The production will tour in 2023, with dates and venues to be confirmed
Blood Harmony shares the story of a fractured trio of sisters, pulled back together with news that turns their worlds upside down. Tensions from the past and worries about the future leave them feeling paralysed.
Music by The Staves will be woven through the show with exclusive new arrangements by Kate Marlais (Enter Achilles, Fatherland) sung live by the talented cast of three women. The band have also created an original song exclusively for the production.
Eve de Leon Allen (The House With Chicken Legs – HOME Manchester/Les Enfants Terribles, Indecent Proposal – Southwark Playhouse), Keshini Misha (The House With Chicken Legs – Les Enfants Terribles, The Country Girls – Chichester Theatre) and Philippa Hogg (Peter Pan – National Theatre/Bristol Old Vic, Offie Award-winning The Curious Case of Benjamin Button – Southwark Playhouse) have all joined the production.
Tickets for all three venues of the 2022 tour are all priced from £10 and so why not try something a little different!
