It appears to have been announced that the film adaptation of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie will be premiering during San Francisco Pride next month.
A Pride Movie Night at Oracle Park has just placed tickets on sale for what has been billed as the first screening of the film that will be shown on June 12th.
Amazon Video have announced this week that the film will be exclusively available on its platform on September 17th, seemingly bypassing the cinematic release the film was due.
While it’s pleasing to see this first screening during San Francisco, this film deserves a proper release into the world on the big screen to be celebrated across the world, not confined to the back catalogue of a streaming service.
