It’s been announced that Benedict Shaw will star in Stafford Gatehouse’s 2025 production of Hamlet.
Shaw has featured in the Boat Story, Hollyoaks and Emmerdale. Theatre credits include Anna of the Five Towns and Kay Mellors The Syndicate
Shakespeare’s most fanous tradgedy will run from June 24 to July 5th with opening night tickets currently priced at £10 for a limited time. Prices for the run are £34 with concessions priced at £28.50
It will be the first time since the annual Shakespeare production moved to the Gatehouse in a cost cutting move by Freedom Leisure will produce a tradgedy.
Theatre Manager Gary Stevens promises the production will create a platform for local talent with further casting announcements to follow.
