It’s been deciding that Freedom Leisure should be allowed to move Stafford Shakespeare for a second year despite a dramatic reduction in visitors.
The cabinet voted in favour of the move for the production of Twelth Night, with further years being decided not by council officials, instead by the Head of Welfare, an appointed role within the council to oversee culture across both Stafford and Cannock.
